Passport to Wine:
A Valley-to-Valley Fundraising Weekend
Friday, April 24th – Saturday, April 25th
Tickets for each individual event are listed below.
2026 marks the second year of the Valley-to-Valley Wine weekend, where we partake in wine education in partnership with CWU, a fundraising multi-course winemakers dinner, a Golden Ticket raffle, silent auctions, the annual wine tasting and sale at Gallery One, and the opportunity to stamp your own passport to wine throughout April.
This exciting weekend starts at CWU on Friday, April 24th, from 1:30-3:00PM (room TBD) with Cheers, Y’all our second exciting educational panel. Curious about the overlaps between creativity and winemaking? Come hear from diverse winemakers and small business owners who infuse a relationship to the natural world and sustainability into their winemaking. Viv Kennedy from RAM Cellars, Ken Dillon from Footprint Wine, Robert Gomez from Hoquetus, and Keith Johnson and Baily Weisinger from Devium will discuss their approaches to wine and the areas that inspire them. Our winemakers will be in conversation with artists who similarly focus on a relationship to our local landscape. These winemakers will also be featured at Gallery One’s winemakers’ dinner and sale and tasting event. This event is sponsored by Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Latino and Latin American Studies, Africana and Black Studies, American Indian Studies, and the Wine Studies program.
Following the panel, on Friday, April 24th, from 5:30-9PM at Gallery One in Ellensburg is the annual Valley-to-Valley Winemakers Dinner, our third collaborative fundraiser to support Helen House, TransRural Lives, and Gallery One. This year, we’ll be featuring seven wines from RAM Cellars, Devium, Hoquetus, and Footprint Wine Tap. Chef Michael Johnson has prepared a special menu focusing on playful, collaborative, small plates, all of which speak to the accompanying wine. We’ll also see the return of the Golden Ticket wine raffle, some bespoke ceramics, an operatic performance by Jeremy Irland, and a silent auction, all to support the community-based work of collaborative local nonprofits. Beer, cocktails, and zero-proof options will also be available throughout the evening. Limited tickets are available at shop.gallery-one.org.
The weekend culminates in Passport to Wine, our annual wine tasting and sale on Saturday, April 25th, from 1-6PM. For over two decades, Gallery One has offered the opportunity for attendees to taste and purchase wines from throughout our region, all in support of Gallery One’s efforts to promote the arts. This event offers a unique opportunity to taste, meet the winemakers, join in a special wine silent auction, and purchase excellent vintages at great prices without sales tax! For $25, you and your guests can enjoy five wine tastings and take home a Gallery One wine glass. Limited tickets are also available at shop.gallery-one.org.
