Night of Shorts – Women’s History Month

March 8, 6:00pm

Join us for an evening of international short films in recognition of Women’s History Month. CWU’s Dean of Undergraduate Studies office; the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program; and World Languages and Culture, along with Gallery One, invite you to a community screening of short films (or “shorts”) that address women’s and femme’s experiences from around the globe. We’re especially highlighting underrepresented identities and shorts that engage with the challenges, complexities, and forms of resilience experienced and enacted by those marginalized due to their gender, and the role that art and film play in creating social change. This event will feature a lightning roundtable and a Q&A to help contextualize the films and provide a space for lively community discussion. All are welcome and we hope to see you there to celebrate our international exploration of Women’s History Month!.
