Kyle Wyatt

Kyle Wyatt, multi-media artist: “As a child my playground was the junkyard near our home.  I guess the rust, metal, and glass got into my blood.  Creating artwork using the materials around me has been liberating to my mind and spirit.  Unable to buy art supplies, I began working with the detritus I could find in scrap yards and on the farm.  I still find inspiration in the broken, the cast off.  Accepting imperfections in my artwork as ‘correct’ has helped me learn to live with with and overcome scrupulosity, though it is a constant challenge.  Instead of perfection, I seek balance.”
