My work explores the coding of objects through interactions of abstract ceramic forms and multimedia objects. These are the tenants of my practice:

I pursue conditions in which formal and conceptual elements seem to contradict one other but at the same time are necessary to their visual voice and cohesion.

I aim to achieve a visceral brake-down of what’s known of a thing though the irreverent deconstruction of the functionally fixed.

I deliberately employ chance to reconstruct the vernacular of objects through phenomena which exist with measures of industrial, domestic, and post-structural association.

The work twists function until it collapses or is reassigned, at which point the object becomes a starting point for dialogue between our shared cultural experiences and assumptions.
