Jacob Goettlicher, a United States Marine Corps Veteran, embarked on his journey in 2020 by establishing a small wood art shop in Ellensburg, Washington. Drawing inspiration from the rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest, Jacob Goettlicher is known for his commitment to ethically sourced woods, carefully gathered from the region’s rich forests. With a deep-rooted passion for revealing the earthly beauty and hidden functionality within otherwise discarded wood materials, he crafts exquisite pieces that seamlessly blend artistry and sustainability, leaving a lasting impression on both their local community and beyond. Since then Jacob has participated in markets all over Kittitas County. His work is featured at Gallery One. Where he won the Mary Frances Award for a contemporary sculpture.
