Creative Classes for Youth
We offer a variety of art experiences and individual growth through drawing, painting, ceramics, art history, found objects, printmaking, and much more through our Art After School program. Our teaching revolves around art techniques, freedom of expression, problem solving, and the elements and principles of art and design.
To register, bring the completed Registration and Parent Release forms, and your payment, to the gallery during regular business hours. Registration is open throughout the quarter at a prorated rate – it’s never too late to sign up!

SPRING QUARTER: March 28 – June 9
Tuesday: 3:30-5:30pm, (ages 7-12)
Clay Club – Dava Ihrke
This Class is a great way to get introduced to the magic of clay. Beginner students can learn hand building and wheel throwing techniques, and advanced students can sharpen and expand their skills.
Tuesday: 3:30-5:30pm, (ages 5-8)
Young Artist Sampler – Amy Davison
Art Sampler for younger artists. A fun introduction to our gallery with projects for the younger students who are getting started in art. We will use a variety of mediums and techniques they are sure to be proud to show off.
Wednesday: 1:00-3:00pm, (6-8 Grade)
Middle School Projects – Spencer Martin
A time for middle school artists to socialize and build art skills at the same time.
Wednesday: 3:30-5:30pm, (ages 7-12)
Clay Club – Natalie Andrus

Art Sampler – Amy Davison
This class will explore different fabric and fiber techniques from weaving, embroidery and hand stitching, painting, drawing and more!
Friday: 10-11am, (ages 3-5 + Adult)
Art of Play – Amy Davison – $5 drop-in. Must be accompanied by an adult.
This is a class for young preschool aged artists and an accompanying adult to experience color, texture, form through various materials and play. We sing songs, do art and read a book. A great way to help show parents a fun way to bring art into your home while working on skills that will help in school. Drop In Punch Cards available at the front desk.
Friday: 3:30-5:30pm, (ages 7-12)
3D Art – Tabitha Klucking
Building and making art using a wide variety of 3D techniques.
