Creative Classes for Youth

We offer a variety of art experiences and individual growth through drawing, painting, ceramics, art history, found objects, printmaking, and much more through our Art After School program. Our teaching revolves around art techniques, freedom of expression, problem solving, and the elements and principles of art and design.

Masks will be optional for Art After School Sessions . Please read our full Covid Protocol for more information on how we plan to keep your child and your family safe.

FALL QUARTER: September 13 – December 16

Tuesday: 3:30-5:30pm, (ages 5-8)
Little Artist Sampler – Amy Davison
Art Sampler for younger artists. We will work with a variety of art mediums each week in a beginner skill level.

Tuesday: 3:30-5:30pm, (ages 7-12)
Clay Club – Natalie Andrus
Get your hands dirty in our clay club! In this class, students will learn handbuilding and throwing ceramic techniques to create sculptures and functional ceramics!

Wednesday: 2:30-4:30pm, (6-8 Grade)
Middle School Art Club – Spencer Martin – $5 drop-in
A drop in class for those busy middle schoolers who still want to remain connected to Gallery One.

Wednesday: 3:30-5:30pm, (ages 7-12)
Art Sampler – Tabitha Klucking
This class will be a technique-based sampler inspired by artists around the world.

Thursday: 3:30-5:30pm, (ages 7-12)
Art Sampler – Amy Davison
Students will have fun practicing a variety of skills and using different materials to create interesting artworks.

Friday: 10-11am, (ages 3-5)
Art of Play – Amy Davison – $5 drop-in. Must be accompanied by an adult.
This is a class for young preschool aged artists and an accompanying adult to experience color, texture, form through various materials and play. We sing songs, do art and read a book.  A great way to help show parents a fun way to bring art into your home while working on skills that will help in school.

Friday: 3:30-5:30pm, (ages 7-12)
