Catching the Light
Northwest Icon, Richard Elliott, is probably best known for his development of reflector art and the many public artworks he created across the Northwest and the nation during his decades-long art career. Dick & Jane’s Spot is the home in Ellensburg that he shared with his wife and artist, Jane Orleman, who still lives there. It has become a destination for art-lovers with numerous quirky installations, architectural embellishments and free-standing sculptures scattered among a well-manicured garden. Gallery One is proud to feature an overview of the artistic legacy Elliott has left behind, including prints and mixed media works.
Eveleth Green Gallery:
Spot Artists
Dick Elliott and Jane Orleman employed many students and artists over the years to work for their janitorial business, but also to help maintain the many works of art and flower gardens gracing the grounds of their home. Works by many of their employees throughout the past few decades will be on display.
