Get a jump on this year’s holiday shopping. Gallery One has done most of the work for you in finding beautifully handcrafted, unique gift items. Featuring works by northwest artists and artisans, shoppers are sure to find one-of-a-kind treasures in their expanded gift gallery during the months of November and December. Gallery One is extending their shopping hours for your convenience. For the month of November and December, we will be open from 12-6 Monday through Saturday and 12-4 Sunday.

Systems Theory: Weather and Migration
Lisa Lamoreaux

Lisa Lamoreaux is a Seattle-based painter known for her rich colors and highly textured and layered surfaces. Her process includes noticing the pattern and imagery that appears as she paints, which she then brings to the foreground, nudging a perceptual shift in the viewer to look further into the surface. Images, icons, and symbols are used as metaphor revealing a deeper meaning and dialogue with the viewer.

Her works can be found in many private and corporate collections including Antioch University, Mayo Clinic Hospital, and St Mary’s Medical. She is represented by Gallery MAR in Park City, UT, Whitebird Gallery in Cannon Beach, OR, The Directors Gallery on Bainbridge Island, and Columbia City Gallery in Seattle.
