Gallery One's Paint Ellensburg event takes place the third Saturday of September each year. Artists are invited from across the region to come and participate by creating art in public. They have only eight hours to work, and the public can pick up a map to find them and watch. Those artists who cannot make it to town for the event may submit existing works. The event culminates with a live and silent auction of art and specialty items in the Manastash Room at the Kittitas Valley Events Center.
