Mark your calendar for this year's Paint Ellensburg community event and auction hosted by Gallery One. Artists will be coming from across the state and country to spend eight hours making art in Ellensburg. Stop by Gallery One for a map to find the artists working in public and watch their masterpieces evolve. A variety of free hands-on art activities for the whole family will take place at Gallery One from 9-2, including a free sidewalk chalk event in the pavillion. Registration starts at 9:30.

At 6:00 p.m. the doors will open in the Manastash room at the Kittitas County Events Center for our annual silent auction. A Greek-inspired dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. specially prepared by David Cross and his crew. The live auction will begin at 7:30, with an offering of beautiful artwork and specialty packages for dinner, overnight accomodations, golf, fly-fishing and more. Artist entry forms are still being accepted until September 7th. Artists may choose to partipate in the 8-hour event or submit an existing piece of art. If you have never participated, we guarantee you will have a great time. This is the one time a year we ask local and regional artists to support Gallery One.
