The November exhibition in the Green Gallery showcases works by current Gallery One ceramic students. These individuals have been brought together from a variety of experiences and with a range of abilities to learn this ancient art form. The idea for the exhibit stemmed from the student’s desire to allow the public more access what goes on here at Gallery One after hours. From start to finish, the entire process involves: preparing the clay, creating with the clay, firing and glazing, critiquing and finally exhibiting. This is the first opportunity many of these artists have had to display their work.
