July 12 & 13, 2007 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm

Felix Espinoza was born in Peru in 1955 without arms. Since then he has become a professional artist whose career has led him around the world. Espinoza studied for five years at the Catholic University in Peru where he specialized in painting. His artwork now incorporates a variety of mediums including oil painting, watercolor, carving, printmaking and glass.

Influenced by the works of the famous Spanish painter Valazquez, which he learned at the Prado museum in Madrid, he creates intricately detailed images of saints and angels. Their richly ornate garments reflect the Spanish colonial influence in Peru

Felix will be working and demonstrating his talent in the Gallery One front window on Thursday, July 12th and Friday, July 13th from 11am – 5pm. The public is encouraged to drop by and meet the artist.
