Overview
As part of its mission to promote art in Kittitas County, Gallery One has created the Gallery One Marketplace website. Gallery One Marketplace is a site where artists in Kittitas County can inexpensively display and sell their artwork. As such, it’s also a site where people looking to buy artwork created in Kittitas County can find many works in one place. Businesses that sell art supplies can also list their products or services, either to the general public or only to the artists.

Cost
For artists listing their work on the site, it is free until 8 members have signed on (to ensure a reasonable number of products for sale). After 8 members have signed on, the cost is $50 per year. This fee allows each member to have up to 25 items for sale at a time. (Members can add more items at any time, for an additional fee.)

Gallery One Marketplace does not charge any commissions or any other fees for any items sold on its site.

You maintain your own information
Unlike most sites, Gallery One Marketplace allows each member to be responsible for their own section of the site. This means that each member can change their items, or their prices, as often as they like. Members do not need to know any HTML or complicated lingo—all they have to do is fill out a simple dialog box.

Try it for free
If you’re not sure this is the right site for you, try it for free. Sample members have access to all the features of the site, and can use it just like regular members, except that the information will only appear to that member. So you can add a few pieces of artwork, and see how it looks. If you decide this doesn’t work for you, there’s nothing else you have to do.

If you decide you want to continue, email marketplace,,,gallery-one.org and pay the membership fee. The status of your account will change from sample to regular member, and your information and products will be available to the rest of the world, with no additional work on your part.

Getting started
If you’re an artist interested in selling your work on Gallery One Marketplace, email marketplace,,,gallery-one.org. In the email, state the membership name you want. This is the name that your products will appear under.
