Wenatchee Valley Invitational
Building on the success of last year’s Thorp Open Invitational, Gallery One continues a new tradition of offering an exhibit to one community from outside the area each year. This year the main gallery and mezzanine will highlight artists from the Wenatchee Valley. A select group of artists were invited to submit two works for the show, which should encompass a broad range of mediums and concepts. Gallery One looks forward to continuing the invitational in the future to create an exchange of art and ideas throughout the state.

Marcia Van Doren, Robert Graves

A married couple working out of their Whidbey Island and West Seattle studios, Robert Graves and Marcia Van Doren present different styles of artwork in their oil paintings and prints. Robert Graves' art is a personal view of the evolution in nature that provides an ongoing development of his work. The focus of Marcia Van Doren's art work is fantasy or storytelling, centering on imaginary happenings or settings
