Our camps provide a great environment for students to create, learn & have fun. All levels are welcome for all camps. Clay, Teens with Special Needs, and Drawing are half day camps. All other classes run from 9am-3pm. Please see details for each class. Students are taught by professionals and monitored at all times. Please pack a lunch & snack for your child if attending a full day session.

T-shirts:
Students are invited to print their own t-shirt this year. Be sure to bring a shirt to the first day of camp. We’ll have a screen and ink ready.

2018 Summer Camps

Camp 1: Comics & Characters  ages 7-12 JUNE 18-22  9am-3pm
Develop a character and bring it to life with paint, pencils, and your imagination! Students will create their own comics, comic strip with narrative and a ZINE.

 

Camp 2: Clay ages 7-12 JUNE 18-22  9am-12pm 
Have fun in our beautiful clay studio! Get messy while learning all about clay.Throw on the wheel & create some one of a kind clay sculptures and learn the ins and outs of handbuilding.

 

FULL – Camp 3: Art & Nature  ages 4, 5 & 6   JUNE 25- 29 – 9am-12pm
Enjoy the opportunity to work with the WA Outdoor School! Students will spend most of their time exploring outdoors and then return to the gallery to make artwork on Thursday & Friday.

 

Camp 4: Art Exploration for Young Adults with Special Needs JUNE 25-29 – 9am-12 pm
Enjoy art making in a great space with great people. We will work with found objects, paint fabric, glue and more!  An Anime project anyone? Call 925-2670 for more information.

 

FULL – Camp 5: Art & Nature  ages 7-12 JULY 9-13 9am-3pm

FULL – Camp 6: Clay ages 7-12 JULY 16-20  9am-12pm & 1-4pm

Camp 7: Art & Shelter  ages 7-12  JULY 23-27 9am-3pm
Explore the idea of living in nature & GO WILD!  We’re thinking bird houses, tree houses & igloos. Create your own habitat. Perfect for the budding architect.

 

FULL – Camp 8: Art & Theatre  ages 7-12  July 30 – Aug 3rd 9am-3pm
It’s not about what it is, It’s about what it can become.-Dr. Seuss. Students/actors will have fun learning all about theatre, costumes, & stage. Performance on Friday afternoon!

 

Camp 9: The Magical Mural Experience: ages 12-18 Aug 6–10, 9am-3pm
This camp will introduce preteens to the process of painting large-scale murals. Students will learn about all steps from initial design to final completion as they collaborate onsite on one or more murals.

 

Camp 10: Art & Music ages 7-12 AUG 13-17   9am-3pm
Art Rocks, and so will you. Have fun making up songs, playing music & recording it all in an artistic way – create your own album/cd cover, record label & make a set for a  Friday performance!

 

Camp 11: Found Object Art  ages 7-12 AUG 20-24  9am-3pm
Students will have fun creating with objects that are not always considered materials for art making. Here is your chance to turn discarded materials; containers, boxes, tubes, bottle caps and debris into treasures!
