I use different media to express my thoughts, my feelings, and the rhythms of the natural world. Collages, created both from magazines and from my photography, are one of the methods I rely on to communicate these messages. As a child, coloring books were not a part of my preschool and kindergarten years as my mother believed they did not nurture the creative spirit. The expectation was to not color within the lines. This early instruction has shaped the way I see the world. I fill my life with art and create a composition in my home and garden for wherever the observer’s eye lands.
