2012 SUMMER CAMPS
Camps are 9 am – 3 pm Monday through Friday
Members $130
Non Members $160
Material Fee $20
If you register for more than one child or for more than one camp you get a 10% discount.
You will need to provide a healthy lunch for your child and a snack if they need it. In order for the camp to be a success for your child, please make sure they are well rested and on time for class each day. On Friday, we usually have a presentation of their work around 2:30 for friends and family. We will let you know the details as the week goes on.

July 9th-13th
Art Exploration for Teens
with special needs
(this class meets 9-12)
Explore many different art processes & materials to
express yourself artistically. Teachers: Justin Gibbens, Will Bow & Becky Parmenter

July 16th-20th
Paper/Printmaking Camp
Learn to make your own paper and then print on it! We will be using many
processes including, monoprints, relief prints, & embossing!
July 23rd-27th
3-D Art Camp
Use your drawings and imagination to make art that stands on its own!
We will use Paper Mache, clay, found objects & more.
Get ready to make a beautiful mess & take home some beautiful art.
August 6th-10th
Installation Art camp
Create art in a way that makes the viewer feel a part of it.
Work in the style of Andy Goldsworthy, Oldenburg, van Bruggen, Christo & Jeanne-Claude.
We will use cloth, foundobjects & great finds from nature to create.
August 13th-17th
Charlie Harper Camp
Study the 80 year body of work that is Charlie Harper.
Plants, flowers, animals, & their habitats are the focus.
Simple shape, color, paint and paper are the means to an amazing end.
August 20th-24th
Art from the South Pacific
Get inspired by the beauty of the South Pacific islands! make paper tapas, painti nthe style
of Gauguin, and learn to weave with natural materials!
That's all part of the fun, along with lots of color to make art from the tropics.
